Observations: 

Group b: Marinela and Tania participated very well. They talked and shared about shopping and stores of their towns or cities Tania talked very well the majority of the time in English. Marinela participated and she is attentive to the activities but she needs to talk more in English because she speaks sometimes in Spanish.

Group a: The three students participated very well. They explained about their preferences of shopping and stores. They use vocabulary and good expressions to describe this topic. They interact with each other. They have a good level of English. Oscar has good vocabulary and he is fluent in speaking but He has some problems with the connections sometimes, He miss some classes but in general the students of these group have a good level of English related to the basic English II.

The knowledge and information of the students

Observations:   Group B: Tania and Marinela assisted on time. We have problems with the signal. The signal failed for Marinela and in the last part of the session Tania`s call failed and she had to go out and in three times to the call. Tania participated in a good way. Some of the vocabulary related to food was new for her but she tried to ask and explain in English. Marinela knew some words of the vocabulary. She participated in all the activities. She needs more vocabulary because she doesn’t know a lot of things and this is why she speaks in English the majority of the time.

Martha and Lina assisted. Lina participated in a good way, some things or ingredients she had to say or explain in Spanish because she didn’t know the meaning or translation of them. Martha has more vocabulary and she knew more ingredients about food but she had to explain some typical foods or preparations in Spanish because she couldn’t explain very well in English, so, we mix Spanish and English in the explanations of the preparations of some typical food.
